Length is not mass
For geometrically similar objects at equal density, volume and mass scale with the cube of a linear dimension. Humans and whales are not geometrically similar. Their actual masses cannot be obtained by cubing this height-to-length ratio; body shape and composition matter.

The whale is represented by total body length, the elephant by shoulder height and the standing human by full height. Those dimensions are anchored in one world-coordinate system before a shared camera transform. Are the illustrations really to scale?
The human’s height, elephant’s shoulder height and whale’s nose-to-tail length share one coordinate scale. The animals are stylized, so smaller anatomical features are not scientific measurements. The camera zooms all objects together.
Is 30 meters the largest a blue whale can grow?
No. NOAA reports that Antarctic blue whales can reach about 110 feet, or roughly 33.5 meters. This experience uses a 30-meter example. Size and mass vary, and the displayed mass is illustrative rather than inferred precisely from length.
Why compare a person’s height with a whale’s length?
Each is an intuitive and commonly reported dimension. The axes are different, so the comparison is labeled explicitly. A 17.1× length ratio does not mean the whale is 17.1× heavier.
